SSC CHSL 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has come out with the SSC CHSL Notification 2023 including the online application link for 1600 (approx.) diferent posts like Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

According to the SSC CHSL Notification 2023, the online application will start on 9th May 2023 and candidates may submit their applications by 8th June 2023 on the official website @ssc.nic.in.

SSC CHSL 2023 Vacancy: Approximately 1600 vacancies has to be filled for different posts. According to the official SSC CHSL Notification 2023, the firm number of vacancies will be finalized later on.

How to fill out the SSC CHSL 2023 Application Form?

Please follow these steps to apply online for the SSC CHSL 2023 Vacancy –

Visit the official website of SSC @ssc.nic.in.

You will see a log in box on the right side of the SSC Homepage, log in with your registration credentials if you are already registered.

After logging in  fill out the SSC CHSL 2023 Application form by clicking on the apply button.

Please fill up your details, and upload a scanned photo and signature.

Now you will need to pay the application fee (if applicable).

Once done, click on submit.

 Don’t forget to take a Printout of the application form for any future reference.

SSC CHSL Notification 2023: Application Fee

SSC CHSL 2023 Applications Fee has to be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or by using any other bank Credit/Debit Card.

The Challan form gets generated online. The candidates will have to pay a non-refundable Application Fee for SSC CHSL 2023 according to the categories given below:

  • For General/OBC, the application fee is Rs. 100/-
  • For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female- No fees

SSC CHSL Notification 2023: Application Status

SSC CHSL 2023 Application Status: The link to check the application status for the candidates for checking the status of their online application for the SSC CHSL 2023 Exam will be activated by SSC. 

It is just to make sure that SSC has accepted the application of the candidates. In case there are any mistakes in the SSC CHSL 2023 Application Form, you will be provided a window to rectify that.

SSC CHSL Notification 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring candidates who are willing of SSC CHSL 2023 will have to abide by all the SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria as decided by the SSC Commission.

The candidates must go through the requirements of educational qualification, physical standards, age etc., and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post(s) before applying for the same.

All the  candidates of SSC CHSL 2023 will have to abide by all the Eligibility Criteria decided by the Commission.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

  •  a citizen of India, or
  •  a subject of Nepal, or
  •  a subject of Bhutan, or
  •  a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification (04/01/2023)

The educational qualification varies for the post candidate is applying for. The standard educational qualification according to the vacancy applied is given below:

(A) The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12th from a recognized board or university.
(B) For the post of DEO in the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG),
applicants must have studied science and mathematics as the main subjects in Class 12th.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in their 12th standard can also apply provided they produce the educational qualification and the documentary evidence from the board/ university as of January 1st, 2023

SSC CHSL Notification 2023: Selection Procedure

  • SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Process is based on the result of all two stages.
  • Candidates will have to qualify in each stage to appear in the subsequent stage.
  • The final selection list will be prepared by shortlisting applicants based on their cumulative performance across the first two stages.
  • After qualifying all three stages the candidates will be called for the Document Verification.
  • Candidates will be allotted to the various departments for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, and Court Clerks based on their merit and preference of post.

SSC CHSL 2023 Admit Card

SSC CHSL Admit Card 2023 (Tier-1) will be out in a week before the exam date. To download the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Admit Card 2023 candidates will need to have their SSC Registration no. and Password.

SSC CHSL 2023 Resolution of Tie Cases

In case of a tie in scores of candidates in Tier-I + Tier-II examinations, merit will be decided by applying the following conditions, one after another, till the tie is resolved:

  1. Total marks of the Tier-II Examination.
  2. Total marks in Tier-I Examination.
  3. Date of birth, with the older candidates, placed higher.
  4. Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.
