- Question Pattern-MCQ
- Language section is qualifying in nature.
- It consists of 2 parts, Part-I and Part-II.
- Part-I-English language, which is mandatory for all.
- Part-II Hindi language / Urdu language / Bengali language.
- The candidate has to choose any one of the three languages.
- Candidates will have to secure a minimum of 30 percent marks in this paper.
- The General Studies section consists of Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, Mental ability tests, General Science, Indian National Movements, Social Science, Geography and Environment.
- The Questions of General Studies will be related to the syllabus of the Primary School, but it’s standard according to the prescribed minimum qualification of the candidate.
- There will be no negative marks for the Language Section.
- For General Studies, there will be Negative Marking for incorrect or wrong answers.

BPSC Secondary Teacher Examination will take place for 220 marks of 220 questions. 2 papers will be held for Bihar Secondary Teacher Niyamavali. Paper 1 will be for Language and Paper 2 will consist of General Studies.

- The questions of the examination will be according to the syllabus of the Secondary School, but its standard according to the prescribed minimum qualification of the candidate.
- Part-II will have General Studies. There will be Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, Geography, Indian National Movements, and General Science. The Questions of General Studies will be related to the syllabus of the Secondary School, but it’s standard according to the prescribed minimum qualification of the candidate.
- There will be no negative marking for Language Section.
- For General Studies, there is a provision for Negative Marking for incorrect or wrong answer.
